Lead Creative Direction and Copywriting. Wells Fargo was a major sponsor of the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge celebration. They wanted to generate awareness of their sponsorship to the Bay Area. One small problem. Bank of America provided the vast majority of the bridge's funding.
This campaign reported nearly a million impressions. This is one of the only projects I ever worked on without any stated sales goals. After reading the entire history of Wells Fargo, the logical and important link between the bank and the bridge was uncovered: both made the settlement of the West possible and by extension San Francisco the city it is today.
