After decades of executing effective marketing and creative campaigns in the ad agency and in-house corporate marketing world, I had a transformative scuba diving experience that shifted my priorities and career trajectory. In pursuing my Divemaster certification, I established an unshakable connection to the ocean. It’s this connection that led me to redirect my career towards sustainability, the Blue Economy, and marine conservation. I’m committed to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people and square miles of our planet. And I’m here to make a measurable difference in the world.

Specifically, startups, the Fortune 50-1000, NGOs, and nonprofits.

For more than 25 years, I’ve helped companies scale and grow successfully by distilling complex subject matter into strategic and effective campaigns that connect, engage, and impact a range of global audiences. I’m resourceful, tenacious, entrepreneurially minded, and lead by example. I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves, take calculated risks, or make mistakes.

I’ve worked with numerous global companies and several ocean conservation nonprofits on many successful global campaigns. In my last role at BlackBerry, I evaluated and reformulated existing communications strategies and messages that helped reframe the company. There, I broke through organizational silos, improved existing creative processes, and created over a dozen successful campaigns that increased recognition and elevated brand voice globally across many of their cybersecurity and IoT products. Here’s a few career highlights:

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Accenture: Supported sales teams to deliver a win rate of 88% for $10M-$1B deals with compelling brand narratives and integrated campaigns.

BlackBerry: Led creative for QNX Automotive launch into Software-Defined Vehicle Market, established brand voice, copy process, and copy style/guidelines for global messaging and integrated campaigns for cybersecurity and IoT products.

Cisco/AppDynamics: Developed most successful global brand campaign effort in terms of awareness, clicks, sales leads.

Citrix: Developed an engaging brand story for three distinct audiences to deliver an average time of 3:35 on website.

NONPROFIT COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY:

COARE: Win rate of 70% for new partnerships/affiliates, developed new mission and vision statement, developing new brand.

International Ocean Film Festival: Broke all in-person records.Increased online attendance 56%, ticket sales by 68%, donations by 59%, and 35% increase in newsletter subscriptions.
