CHALLENGE:
Lead Creative Direction, Copywriting and Art Direction. Sales were down 9%. Jelly Belly’s advertising effort had been minimal for years and they had lost touch with their consumers. They wanted to refresh their messaging and reconnect with affluent consumers nationwide. They didn't have a big budget for a photo shoot.
RESULTS:
Turned hundreds of pounds of jellybeans into award-winning headline driven campaign. The campaign turned the sales slump around and resulted in a 10% sales increase. Retailers nationwide also picked up the campaign. The campaign won silver at the Obies, gold at the Western ADDY’s, and was featured in Archive, Print Annual, Adweek, Creativity and How Magazine.
